When you work with a client who gets released on electronic monitoring and who is so flaky that he tends to get lost on his way home from school, you will worry. A lot. This will cause you to become nervous about your ability to have children without dying from all the anxiety. Maybe you should just get a goldfish.

on 3… yay for babies! seriously, someone i know should have one and you will be such a hipster mama. not that i have any advice on the anxiety, since even looking at playground equipment makes me pretty sure my kids are going to wear protective armor and headgear to school.
But when you get a pet you usually can’t take them on holidays so you spend all the months before the holidays simultaneously anticipating it with great delight and wondering who will take care of your strange but marvellous kitty cats…I mean goldfish…I mean theoretical pet(s).
So what I’m saying is, you can take kids on holidays. If you want to.
