In draft box, ready to send

Dear Amazon.com:

After placing an order on your website for two items on May 21, I received an email today notifying me that my order was not expected to ship for another “5 to 7 days.”  Which would put it arriving at my house, optimistically, no earlier than June 7.  Which is 17 days after I ordered it.  Which is unacceptable.

Therefore, please cancel my order for (1) copy of The Perfect Scoop ice cream cookbook and (1) Medium-weight Exercise Resistance Band for Toning and Firming the Arms.   If you could also stop laughing at me for ordering those two items at the same time, I would greatly appreciate it.

“Free SuperSaver Shipping” MY ASS,

    Bwah hahahahahaha!

    Thanks for that one.

  2. I’m SO glad you addressed how funny it is you ordered those at the same time! Whew!

    And yeah, that was hilarious.

SEND IT! SEND IT! Post about the response you get, if any.

You need a big plan. One of you guys should ask Guido if you can talk to him outside. Then tell him something like, “I think I’m gay, how do you think I’d do as a lesbian?” or something, while another one of you leaves him an anon note printed by computer (so he can’t read handwriting) saying “Guido! Stop with the noise! No talking, no whistling, no doing anything that distracts people around you! Thank you, love your shoes!”

LOL! Definitely send it. Or call them, say that, and then break into a tear-filled rang about how bar prep has broken you. ;)

I know you wrote this like two months ago but I just found your blog and wasting time at work by reading all you entries :)

Anyway, the same thing happened to me with Amazon, but also with Target. I needed a white dress for an occasion next month, but I needed to recieve it before I left for school, so I ordered the dress I wanted in two sizes (online shopping makes me nervous since you don’t know what will fit). I ordered it mid-July, it wasn’t supposed to get here until SEPTEMBER! So I canceled one of them and that moved it up to mid-Auguest, but that was cutting it close. So I ordered a different dress in two sizes, and when I got it I really didn’t like it, but I was going to keep the one that fit because I really needed an all white dress and didn’t know if I’d be able to find one else where. That same day I checked the shipping on the original dress and they said they’d ship it in less than 24 hours! So I got it on Saturday and I’m so glad I ordered it. Wow, that was a really long story, I’m sorry, but I’ve been there so I had to share. Keep up the blogging, I’ll be back!
