I am generally reluctant to carp (publicly) about people’s inefficient use of their time at work, but for the second time this week the secretary who sits outside my office has just gone into the IT guy’s office (he only works part time, in an office in the far back, out of sight from everyone else) to TAKE A NAP.
I know, I know, blogging on lunch hour, glass houses, shouldn’t throw stones, etc., but come ON.
Hilarious. You sure she’s napping? Or is she paying a special visit to the I/T guy? Food for thought…
Next time someone comes looking for her, are you going to tell them exactly where she is?
C’mon. Cut her a break as long as it is her “off time” and there isn’t real, lost production…unless she is just hung over!
I don’t know how old she is or whatever, but maybe she’s newly pregnant. If I had that opportunity in the first trimester I would have grabbed it and never let go.
But for others, yeah, that blows. I’d be frustrated too.
